With a passion for social justice, Celeste began her career as a public school educator teaching youth who were focused on becoming the first in their family to attend college. From 2005-2016, she was part of People Operations at Google. During her role as a Leadership & People Development Specialist, she served as an internal consultant working with executives and their teams to develop greater levels of effectiveness via coaching, consulting and facilitation.
Today, Celeste supports clients around the globe and in a variety of environments ranging from nonprofit to large corporations. Celeste has worked with some of the largest public and private sector industries within the engineering, pharma, law, sales, HR and the wind energy fields. She has a breadth of experience creating team/community environments of trust, honesty, and risk taking. Her clients rave about Celeste’s ability to help groups have the hard conversations to get unstuck and unlock real progress.
Celeste earned her B.A. in Gender & Multicultural Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz and her Ed.M in Gender & Education at Harvard. She is a Master Facilitator of Adaptive Leadership and is a recent graduate of Stanford’s Applied Compassion program.
In San Francisco, Celeste enjoys hiking up hills, Mexican Folklorico dance, live music and adventuring around the city with her husband and two sons.
